Marvin and Brad saw Disney/Pixar's "Cars"!
Marvin and Brad had the opportunity to see a screening of Disney/Pixar's latest movie,
"Cars" at the Mann Theaters Corporate Office's screening room in downtown Minneapolis on Tuesday, May
2.
· Preliminary Schedule for 2006 NFFC Convention Announced
This year's national Convention will be July 13 through 18
in Anaheim. Once again the event will be at the Crowne Plaza Resort (where it
has been for the last few years), just down the street from Disneyland.
· Disney/Pixar CARS Road Trip -- April 29, 2006
Life size models of hotshot rookie racecar Lightning McQueen (voiced by Owen
Wilson) and Sally Carrera, a 2002 Porsche 911 (voiced by Bonnie Hunt) were on display at
Burnsville Center on Saturday, April 29 from 11-3 in the parking lot between JCP
and Sears. For more information,

This year's NFFC July convention was held in Anaheim as usual. But this year
Disneyland provided a
special celebration -- it's 50th Birthday! We had a BIG group from the Star of the North NFFC attending
this event.

Steve S got to attend a 2-hour seminar by Dave Smith at Walt Disney World on Weds,
March
15, 2005. The session was scheduled for WDW CM's and was held at the Walt Disney Story Theater, right
behind the Exposition Hall Building at Town Square, Magic Kingdom. The session was MCed by Jim Korkis of
the WDW Disney Learning Centers. It was fun, informative, and Dave brought along some artifacts to show
off.
[MORE]· Steve Solovitz at WDW -- since October, 2004
Steve has up and moved to Orlando to work at Disney (Nothing personal!) He's taken a
Leave of Absence from his job at IBM/Rochester and will be living in an apartment in
Kissimmee Highway 192 about 7 miles west of WDW. He will put more information about his odyssey on a
website for you to see.

We have several members at this year's Happy Haunts and Mickey's Not-So-Scarey
Halloween celebration at WDW. Roxy, Jeff, Cindy, and SteveS were there.

Roxy, Jeff, Cindy, Steve & Tim F will be at WDW at various times end of Jan and first

2004 -- though not all together. (Except Jeff & Cindy of course)
BUT -- Jeff & Cindy, Steve & Carol met for a day together at the Magic Kingdom. All day Saturday, 2004.
